About Nathan
Nathan is the director and principal osteopath at Universal Health & Performance, he is a fully registered/qualified osteopath and completed his 5 years of trainging at Southern Cross University in 2013 (B.Clin.Sci, M.Ost.Med.)
Nathan has a unique approach to patient care through combining traditional elements of osteopathy & dry needling with modern strength & conditioning principles to give you a full spectrum of injury management & rehab as well as enhancing physical performance.
Nathan has a wide a varied client base with experience looking after many different sporting disciplines from surfing, Barbell & Strength (crossfit, bodybuilding, strongman, powerlifting & oly lifting), various football codes, running & trail running, BJJ & combat sports.
Drawing from his own clinical experience mixed withan ever evolving current research and evidence base on physical therapy & rehab, Nathan takes a holistic & highly individualised approach to each patient.
Nathan considers himself a 'lifetime student' and has taken many opptunities to learn from industry leaders not only in physical therapy, but many pioneers of human health, performance and optimisation.
Nathan is an avid skateboarder, surfer & musician. When not in the clinic he’ll either be in the surf, or off camping somewhere remote with his wife Tash and 3 kids - Taki, Sana & Odi!
